Architecta Supporting “The Home Heat Pump Advantage” Event in St Bees

Architecta will be attending and supporting The Home Heat Pump Advantage: Smarter, Warmer, Greener, an upcoming event hosted by Futureproof Cumbria in St Bees, focused on helping homeowners understand heat pump technology and low-carbon heating.

Our director, Gina Windley, works with Futureproof Cumbria as a Retrofit Assessor, supporting homeowners through home energy assessments, heat pump readiness checks, and retrofit advice. Through this work, we help people understand how their homes perform and what improvements may be needed before installing a heat pump.

The event will cover how heat pumps work, when they are most effective, real examples from Cumbrian homes, available grants, and how to access trusted local installers — all in a clear, jargon-free format with no sales pitches.

If you’re interested in improving your home’s energy efficiency or exploring whether a heat pump could work for your property, this event is a great place to start.
