Sunny Brow Gains Building Control Approval

We’re pleased to announce that Sunny Brow has officially received Building Control approval, a major step forward for this thoughtful, energy-focused retrofit.

Located in a conservation area, Sunny Brow is a traditional stone cottage undergoing a sensitive retrofit that respects its historic character while introducing high-performance building upgrades. With Building Control approval now granted, we’re one step closer to transforming this underperforming home into a warm, efficient and low-energy dwelling.

The design includes:

• Natural, breathable internal wall insulation

• Improved airtightness and ventilation strategy

• Measures to future-proof the home for the installation of a heat pump

• Thoughtful detailing in keeping with the cottage’s heritage
